... and your question is?

That looks like a standard template without any changes so far. Why don't you have a go at doing it, then come back with whatever specific problem you may find.

Hi johnwm

I will tell you what I am trying
1) I opened the style.css
2) I tried to locate where Events was.
3) So can I can replace it with my picture
I have no idea of where to pace that picture
Thanks

The text is in the HTML file not the CSS file. Just use your FF developer toolbar to outline block elements, then select Information | Display Element Information. That will show you how the layout works, and the name and parent of the div that you're looking for. Then stick this in that div in place of any text.

<img src="
You probably also need to get back to the basics of HTML - see and the equivalent CSS section.

Hi johnwm
Thanks for your reply
I did spend some time at w3schools
I think I have to spend more time there

Sorry for asking this trivial question.
I have Dreamweaver.
I don't know where FF developer toolbar is
All this paragraph sounds unfamiliar
"Just use your FF developer toolbar to outline block elements, then select Information | Display Element Information. That will show you how the layout works, and the name and parent of the div that you're looking for. Then stick this in that div in place of any text."

Sorry I wasn't clear - I sort of assumed that most web developers would have Firefox and the Developer toolbar installed.

You can get FF here:

Hi johnwm
Thanks for your help.

I have been making web sites for about 5 years as a hobby and this is the first time I am seeing this.
I worked with Front Page and Macromedia products
I have had Firefox for about 1 year.
This is new thing altogether.

I installed this
web_developer-1.1.6-fx.xpi

This looks really neat but
I still don't know what to do

How about if I work with Dreamweaver.
I could just place the picture anywhere I want

If you want to replace Events with an image, you can either change the following code by adding an image
Code:
  <div class="right">
    <div class="comments_area">
      <div class="events_head">[b]Events[/b]</div>
      <div class="comments_text">
        <div align="left">On 12th January 2008 <br />
          <a href="#" class="comments_link">ourna tempus imperdiet llentes Pellentesque</a></div>
      </div>

or simply highlight it in Dreamweaver and insert an image. This is very introductory stuff. Am I missing something?

There are lots of Dreamweaver tutorials on the web (many of them at the Adobe site). Just google or use search engine of your choice...
