I have a pkt-bus minor alarm on PN11

PN11 PKT-BUS n Minor

test pkt port 11

pn 11 pkt-bus 572 abort error 1142
pn 11 pkt-bus 573 pass

replaced the card 3x's still same problem.. any ideas?

i read through that yesterday and replaced the card 3x's and still same problem... how do I go about releasing a maintenance port... it doesn't have a location release port loaction04 tells me nothing... considering its in a maintenance slot...

it also looks like the problem is with the maintenance port itself and not the cards... I know there is no easy fix solution, but is there a way to clear this alarm so we can atleast do our upgrade? Avaya will not come out to do the ugprade until its cleared.

FIX ACTION: Add TN771D to cabinet... Cabinet requires both a TN775 and TN771 Maintenance card... go figure ; ;

Make sure all of your medpro's,ipsi's and CLAN's are all at the latest firmware. I had major pkt-bus alarms come and go all day long until we upgraded the firmware on those cards.
