What are some good tools either 3rd party or built into the PIX to troubleshoot connectivity problems with a site to site vpn or a client connecting using vpn software? Our New Mexico site every once in a while stops taking our traffic and I am trying to see if it is our firewall or theirs. The tunnel is still showing but if I ping a few different boxes I get no reply which when it is functioning properly I do. Is there anyway to force a reconnect? I know they are supposed to do that on their own. Any help would be great.
