Hello! I have a 506E Firewall installed which accepts PPTP VPN Connections. I have several users on the road that use the VPN. Most of my users have cheaper laptops with XP Home on it. They have no problems. Recently I purchased a better laptop with XP Pro on it and joined the domain(2000). The computer refuses to resolve names. I can ping by IP address, but can't resolve names. I also able to open my mailbox(outlook with exchange), but for some reason can't send any attachments. I really can't understand this whole thing since XP Home macines are running fine. Is this a domain policy problem? Does anyone know whats going on?
Thank You!

kgrinberg,
While I don't have an answer for your question (as I am new to the PIX and VPN), I have a problem of my own that you may be able to help me with. I just configured my PIX 520 for PPTP and local authentication per a Cisco document and with the aide of a consultant. However, it ain't working. I don't see any traffic on the PIX's outside interface while in debug mode. I have a posting re: this problem dated 2/13 above.

Could you take a look at my config and give me some direction? Perhaps you could remove all sensitive info from your config and let me see that. However you can help would be GREATLY appreciated.
