We have recently removed a PIX 525 from production, and
currently trying to recover the password.

This site Archive/FAQ is currently being updated, and I am sure that Someone out there can be able to provide some help/guidance/assistance is completing this task.

Alongside your valuable instruction, maybe some cisco links would be useful. CCO access for me is available, thks to the members in advance.

heheh must have posted at the same time :)

.. I also used interface 1, instead of int 0, since I couldn't ping it.

Help ! anyone ?

monitor> file np53.bin"

Try "np63.bin", -10 indicates that the file wasn't found (which should also appear on the 3Com tftp server screen). Me thinks there's a typo in your "file" command.

Check to make sure the file is in the right tftp folder.

thks for all the support, but today I started to removed the 3com tftp sw, w/c I suspect was the culprit and was used to using during the previous years. I downloaded another called winagents, w/c also I did not find to work on the fly w/ my 2003 server. Not having the patience to work the new program, I downloaded and used solarwinds, and it worked for me on the fly.

This tek-tips forum is great, Don't you agree, it provides better support than other vendors paid support-service.
