Can i manage 2 different not neighbouring ip subnets from .240 mask segmented c class network using NAT? My PIX is in RB (two int. only..inside,outside). I curently use the higher subnet (8). When i put an IP addres from the other subnet (5) in static just icmp goes over NAT. No chace for

HI.

How are the subnets connected?

If you have a network similar to this:

Internet
|
PIX
|
router
|
___________
| |
routerA routerB
| |
netA netB

Then there should be no problem and these 2 lines should do it:

global (outside) 1 x.x.x.x
nat (inside) 1 0 0

If not, then provide more details.

Bye

Yizhar, thanks for cooperation. The network looks like this:

Internet
|
PIX(outside ip from subnet (8)
|
HUB
|
------
|
netA(sunbets (5),(8)from .240 mask segmented c network

When i put ip from 5 in static and permit icmp in acl..everything is fine...but somwhere else..like defult nat or something.
