I am trying out the pivot table in Access....I have the report the way I want it but how do you export the results into Excel, when I do I get a message that Excel has different features in its pivot table ....

Is there a reason why you don't just create the pivot in Excel rather than creating in Access and attempting to export it to Excel?

I much prefer working with Excel Pivot tables.

Well that is exactly how I ended up. They are better. I cut and pasted the query results into a blank sheet and ran the wizard. Worked well.

I'm with Duane: it's often better to pull data instead of push them.

Hope This Helps, PH.
