We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

a pivot table is a read only tool
It presents data based on what information it is based on. Only changing the base data can change the presentational data
Only way to do this is to create pivot table then copy/paste values. This will leave you with something that looks like a pivot table but can be edited. NB - this will remove all pivot table functionality so be careful
