Hi all,
I am trying to look up 2 values from a pivot table. I know I could use the index formula to find those two values. The problem is since it is a pivot table, when a user picks a project those columns move according to that project. So if I have a index set up, it will not work since the columns might have changed. Please help!!

Hi,

Why are you using a REPORT (PivotTable) rather than the Source Data of the PT?

Skip,

[glasses]Did you hear what happened when the OO programmer lost his library?...
He's now living in OBJECT poverty![tongue]

Use the GETPIVOTDATA function ... it gets values regardless of the position in the table.

That's assuming that you really want a summary value, and not a value from the source, as Skip suggested.

Cheers, Glenn.

Did you hear about the literalist show-jumper? He broke his nose jumping against the clock.
