Is there a way to configure a Pipeline 85 so that it doesn't automatically redial when you intentionally hang-up. Would still want it to autodial when it has traffic for the other end.

So does that mean you have a problem with unwanted dialouts? If so then check this link out:
This is a good way to find out what is causing your dialouts. Then you can either set up a call filter to block those protocols/sources or solve the problem at the source IP.
