I have a Pinnacle PCTV Stereo tuner. I worked on my Celeron/XP/SP2. Now I moved it to a P4(HT)/XP/SP2 and I get sound but no video (picture).

I tried all (latest drivers etc) but I just can't make it work!

Any ideas out there??

Thanks ;-)

Have you tried at the Pinnacle forums? One is dedicated to this product? You will need to identify your mobo chipset and the graphics controller if you want answers that make any sense.

Do you have any special Codec's installed on your original machine that you don't have on this machine? This could cause this type of problem.

Just a suggestion..

Thanks,

I tried the Pinnacle forums w/o luck.

I have the same codecs on both machines. On the new PC I had another tuner card that caused many many (many) problems -Typhoon. I'm thinking that it may have left something on the machine that's causing the conflict with the Pinnacle.

One strange thing is that the sound keeps playing after I close the program, so there are some driver conflicts somewhere.

Think I'm gonns try reinstalling XP on anothe drive just to see if it works.

Thank you both.
