Hello there. I am on version 9.2. I am attempting to create a single pie chart in my report footer using the chart expert. In my data tab, I have selected Advanced Layout - once per report - Footer.
Then, I can select the "on change of" field, but cannot select the formula field that I desire.
The formula that I am trying to select adds two other formulas that are using sum functions for yet, another formula and running totals.
Here is the formula that I am trying to select:

{@Sub Total Work Type Expense} + {@Sub Total Work Type Capital}

Here are the two formulas included in that formula:

1. {#SumWorkTypeExpenseBudgetScreen} + Sum ({@All Expense Target}, {st_wbs125.description})
2. {#SumWorkTypeCapitalBudgetScreen} + (Sum ({@Capital Target}, {st_wbs125.description}))

I have had to create these formulas and running totals due to multiple records that are skewing the normal sum function.

Any idea why I can't select this formula in the expert or what I can do to remedy this? Thanks!

I had similar problems in Crystal 10 it was fixed by Crystal 11 you will be able to select the formula if you buy Crystal 11.

Ah, that's Bestbegood. Unfortunately, the application I'm running only supports version 9. Sounds like I'm stuck. I'm playing with creating a special formula in a slightly different manner than the original and only using this formula for the chart if possible. We'll see....Thanks!
