Hello. I am trying to create a pie chart based on 6 formulas in my report. I am using CR XI R2 running on Win XP.

Due to the evaluation time constraints, I decided to pass the values that I am trying to chart to a subreport as parameters.

I know that the subreport is receiving the values because I placed them in a corner of the subreport. However, the chart in my subreport does not render.

My chart is configured as a pie chart, with the data tab's "On change of" set to a field in a database that contains one record. The "Show values" list box contains the 6 formulas that I am trying to chart. When I exit the wizard, I get the message window that states that the selected data does not fit the chart type. However, when I continue, run the subreport itself and manually supply the parameters, I get the desired results. But for some reason, this subreport will not work from within a master report.

I know the correct values are being passed to the subreport, but the chart will not render.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the info.

I tried that, but still no chart.

I have decided to create a table that contains just the values I am trying to chart. This should be pretty easy ... I am using a crystal viewer within a Visual Studio form.

Thanks.
