I'm generating a navigation tree only made with icons. It works pretty fine except when the user selects large fonts. Indeed, I got some spaces between icons when the labels of the nodes are bigger than the icons itself. If somebody has a tip about that...
A solution should be to resize the picture according the size of the label...but how to get the size of a label at run-time?

thx
david

an easier solution is to make an image to be the label - so this won't be affected by any font resizing
i know it's a lazy solution but it's efficient ;-)
if i have some spare time i might look at the browser properties, it's sure in here you have the size for the fonts

The tree is supposed to be dynamic.:) So...I cannot use your idea.
The user might change the fonts not only with the browser but also with the settings of the control panel.

in css you can define the size your font in pixels (not points!!), this will make it about the same size everywhere; (browser/platform).
