hello all.

i downloaded "animation" from written (or cowritten) by PraveenMenon in an attempt to "borrow" some code to do animations however im not to sure about the .GraphicCell property.

Q. what determines the cell?? (ie do i have to do something to the bmp or is it done in VB itself)

sorry if the question doesnt make sense but i cant think of a true way to word it?!?

any help appreciated

solved it (i hope)

pictureclip.rows=

pictureclip.cols=

it was staring me in the face.....

Absolutely Adoozer... The cols property and the rows property determines the graphic cell... Sorry i was away for some time, didn't get time to respond to y'r post..

ok... now for a new problem... ive made a 5 cell animation(nothing special) but for some reason it doesnt seem to be cutting up the bmp properly.

the first cell displays the first cell then the next cell is half of the second and half white and so on??

is this common?? is there something im not doing properly with my bmp?? or could it be a hardware issue (my development system runs a voodoo3 2000)??

any input appreciated
