Picture and Fax Viewer

Hi,
I am running Windows XP and alot of my image files are associated with "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer". When I double click pictures, it automatically opens in this program. However, I'd like to open the program by itself and then open files from there. Is this possible and what exe do I run?

Answering this off the top of my head, since I'm not using XP at the moment.....

Try creating a shortcut to

rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\System\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1

No idea if it works, as I've not had chance to try it.
