Good day gentlemen and ladies.

Your forum comes highly rated and recommended, and I am hoping my question poses some technical challenge for you. Well, hopefully the solution does and not a poorly outlined question.

I have a trunk-group that includes a particular number, the numbers in the trunk currently route to a call center group. I want to find / isolate that number and route it to a particular extension. So far, I've tried the following:

- - aar digit conversion to route the number to a VDN and then vectored that VDN to the extension - nothing happened, it still goes to the call center.
- - I tried adding the number to uniform dialplan to route it to the VDN but, I get an error "extension invalid, please check dialplan"
- - adding the last 5 digits of the trunk line to the dialplan analysis. Got error "entries of same leading digits cannot be longer than AAR or ARS FAC"

I want to start with tracing the number when as it comes in, but, I don't know what command would let me trace a trunk member. I tried tracing the trunk-group and called in, but there was no sign that it was being received, even though the call went through to the callcenter.

Can anyone assist me to pick this up and make some progress? Where can I start?

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll review that features parameters and see if it solves my problem.

Is there a command I could use to trace or otherwise identify a particular number as it comes in on a trunk?

When I am doing a translation from a DID number on the SIP trunks, I use the SMGR> Elements> Routing> Adaptations and under my SBCe, create an entry the adapts the number from the DID to the internal extension.
