Hi

Normally the Pickup feature is used when "User A" hears "User B's" set ringing and presses "Pickup key" right.

So what if User A is down the corridoor and can't hear User B's set ring.

Is there any such feature which will allow an indication on User A's set that User B's set is ringing, without using SCN/SCR/MCR keys.

The pickup group will have over 10 members and the indication needs to be indicated on all sets in the group.

Majority of sets are i2001 so no keys (bar 0) to configure either.
Any ideas?

other then an area bell, i don't know of one. a bfs key goes dark when the monitored station rings, not much help. i have had to use a chime for areas to get coverage. alls stations fna'ed to that analog chime, anyone could pick it up.. id did a fna (5 rings) to the supervisors phone.. that depends on how bad they want to cover the calls

Thanks for the reply John.

All sets are FNA'ed to Voicemail so couldn't use that option.

The closest thing i can achieve (on i2004) is to create a Display (DPS) key, lift handset then hit the Pickup key, this will display calling no. and destiantion extn.

This would be ideal, but needs to be automatic on display without pushing all the buttons.
