When I try to access an outside line I get pick up denied. I've tried a different phone and it does the same thing. All other phones on system are working fine. Any solutions?

The message "Pickup denied" appears when using the Directed Pickup (Feature 76), the Group Pickup (Feature 75) or the Trunk Answer (Feature 800) feature.

Most of the times, you see this message because of the following reasons:
[ul]
[li]There is no call ringing.[/li]
[li]Someone else already answered the call.[/li]
[li]The ringing call is coming in on a private line.[/li]
[/ul]

If you are using Group Pickup (Feature 75), it can also mean that the set is not part of a Pickup Group (or that it is part of a different Pickup Group).

If you are using Trunk Answer (Feature 800), it can also mean that the line is not in a Ringing service (or that no service is currently turned on).

Can you tell us more about the feature you are trying to use, the line you are trying to pick up or what you are doing exactly?

You need to reprogram your button as it appears that on has pickup assigned to it instead of a line

I was thinking the same but more like a Pool button.
Not much info was given.

Feature * 0 = button inquiry.
What does it say on the display for that button when doing this feature?.
