My company just got a CICS with a Callpilot 100. The auto attendant is set up to transfer calls to my extension, but I'm often in a file room and would like to answer the call there. When I hit the ringing line on the file room phone it says "In Use", and I have to walk all the way to my desk to answer it.
Is there a feature code I can type in?
Thanks!

Call Pickup"
Try [Feature] 7 6 then the extension of the phone that is ringing. (this is from the MICS guide, but should also work for CICS)

That did it! I also programmed on a "Call Pickup Button".
Thanks JK

Something is wrong for it to say 'in use'
Its not in use until answered by voicemail or a user.
If the line appears on the set you should be allowed to press the line.

other ways are:

Program the lines to also ring in the file room.
or
Program an Answer DN key on the file room phone to answer any calls to your desk.

Both methods you then only need pickup the handset to answer.

FYI the Norstar forum for phone issues like this is here:
