q? i want to flush the contents of my physical memory and paging space manually... is this one possible? it seems that it always filled up though the process is done.. i want to do some testing... thanks!

when in doubt reboot! But as far as flushing the memory manually im not too sure about how to do it. I would like to know myself.

i don't believe there is a facility to do what you want. chances are very good that you will be wasting your time, the memory management in AIX is very good, it just requires proper tuning as per the Performance Guide.
