We have 2 BCM50 units with VOIP trunks between our 2 locations for calling desk to desk which works good. Since each system has there own physical incoming lines (2 FXO) into each we would like to have a central physical person answering calls during the day. Does anyone know how I can take a physical line and when someone calls it, transfer it to a hunt group, specific DN on the other end of a VOIP trunk?

I can transfer fine if someone answers, however I don't have a receptionist at the remote location so I would like the physical lines (061-064) to ring over the VOIP trunk to my main site and if not answered hit the AA.

Possible?

I've done it with PRI, but not analog. You may have to call forward.

so take a handset and set it up to ring but call forward it across the VOIP. Understand that part, but where do I forward it to in terms of someone not answering? If I forward it and nobody answers it never gets to the AA.

If you set up a dummy destination code (8000) and program this as the received private DN number on a spare target line. Then under the BCM config assign that line to your reception extension. Then you will need to logon to the call pilot and assign the target line to your main greeting table and set the delay to what ever you require.

Hope this makes sense
