I love php, but im just not that good at it yet. : )
Ive been looking online for about 3 days & found various thhreads but none really for what i need. and I'm about to give up and just have the users email me the pics and I'll resize and upload for them... lol

I am hoping to find a way (using php) that will allow a user to submit and upload 1 picture (jpg or gif). but if the picture is greater than 400px width, then it could automatically be resized to 400 width (keeping the height ratio and quality)... then have the file saved to my Images directory of my website.

any help is appreciated greatly. thanks

Hi, this is not very hard, but it will take you some hours.

1) Upload

2) Database connectivity
(look under 'Example 1428. A "Best Practice" query').

3) Image resize

Some litres of coffee and some hours and your there :)
