PHP / MySQL Membership Database? 1

Hello,

For a non-profit organization, I am looking for a script (or set of scripts) that will allow members to enter their personal data, interests etc into an online form and the data to be inserted into a MySQL database.

Ideally, the script will provide the following:
- editable page templates
- information editable by the member
- review by admin (via email) before acceptance in the database
- emails to new member for acceptance or rejection
- password reminder function

Because this is for a non-profit oraganization, it will have to free or very cheap. I know than none of this terribly complex, I just do not have the time to write all the components (user editing etc) from scratch. I have checked a couple of resource sites, but can't find anything that quite hits the requirements. The closest ones I found used text databases.

Any pointers to scripts that might work would be greatly appreciated.

As far as having something developed, while "each" individual item in itself shouldn't be too much of an issue, writing a community type app from scratch, isn't going to be simple, cheap, and usually will not be free.


Although, you may be able to find a 'group' of people to work together at their leisure (free time).

HI, i am wrighting a php/mysql community/web browser game at the moment. most of the scripts i have all ready got i could change v ez. and some bits i would have to write.

i would be able to get it to email you the details of new users, but you would have to ok them in a admin panel.

as to why i am willing to do this, well most of the new script i would do for u, i could use in my backend of the community game.
