I am using photoshop CS on OSX 10.2. When i double click on a photoshop file on the desktop, photoshop will open but the file will not. I have to open each file through photoshops file-open. Does anyone have a solutions to this?

Thanks

Is the file name too long? I have noticed that OSX doesn't like long file names so I have to shorten them when files won't open.

Have since found that when i reinstall photoshop the problem disappears. This means that the problem occurs when you install or upgrade Osx, because i recently upgraded Osx. After the upgrade or the reinstallation of Osx you will need to dump the current version of photshop installed on your desktop and re-install the photoshop programme from the original CD.

cheers

Pretty obvious alright. Just used to Quark (as i spend more time on quark than photoshop) not having a decent back up site and as such don't usually look to the manufacturers to provide a solution or acknowledge that their progammes have any faults.

Cheers
