Can anyone please help with this error message:

"could not complete your request because of a program error"
no details are available.

It occurs whenever I try to move anything in Photoshop 7.0.
I have heaps of space on hard drive - 1.6 gig free and 256 of RAM.

I noticed that you asked this question in the PhotoShop forum. From reading that thread, it sounds to me like it's time to call the folks at Adobe and they should be able to help.

I am having the same problem.
Did you find out anything?

Thank you

I have got Pentium 1.6 GHz, 256 mb sdram system. I have this problem with photoshop. When I was drag picture on layers, this error message come: could not complete your request because of a program error

I was heard: There are some problems in Pentium 1.6 and 1.7 and Intel collect these versions from markets. I think this problem about Pentium 1.6

I found an answer! I got that same message while I was trying to edit a photo in Photoshop, and what I did was go to "Image" then to "Mode" and changed it from 8 bitz to 16 bitz!!!

It worked! And I was able to edit my document!!!

LET ME KNOW if it works for you!
