I am using Photoshop and Illustrator to make a digital painting of an outdoor scene. I prefer to work in Illustrator, as I find it a little less complicated than Photoshop. I have used Photoshop to paint a tree with leaves. I want to import this tree into Illustrator and resize it. However, when I import it, it shows the "white" background behind the leaves. How can I import it with just the leaves and the branches selected? Thanks for the help.

You need to make a clipping path in Photoshop.

Thanks, I just figured it out.
