Hi,

I have a little problem with 'saving for web' in Photoshop.
I sliced my layout and saved my slices 'for web' as GIF.

Now, I wanted to save the same slices as JPG. But it doesn't work, when clicking 'save for web' as jpg, it keeps saving the slices as GIF, only the one slice that was selected was saved as JPG.(eventhough I opted for save 'All slices') But it doesn't matter whether I select all the slices and opt afterwards for 'save selected slices' or I save 'All slices', it always saves the slices as GIF.

When I saved the slices deliberetely the first time as GIF, I named every slice. Now I tried to rename the slices, to see if they would be saved as JPG, but doesn't work. It doesn't make a change either, when I save the slices in another map..

anybody knows how to handle this?

thx

Ok, I found out myself (unless anybody knows a quicker way to do it, then tell me)

After clicking 'save for web', you need to click on every slice and change it to the format you want, in my case, all slices had to be changed from GIF to JPG individually.

Don't know why PS 7 does this...but it's not really handy
