I am trying to figure out what is going on with my photoshop 7. Well first it just started to do it about 2-3 weeks ago. I would load in the pictures I would need to work on ( no more then 20 size is 640x480.) They would load to 10 or so normal and then after that it would blink for every one after that and go do the whole line of the pictures. Then when I go to edit the pictures it would do the same thing blank freeze for a second or 2 that go back to where I moved the mouse or whatever I was doing. Then I also noticed that the load screen would go white. I tried uninstalling the program two time thing it was the new update but nothing. I hope somebody can help.

Could be your preferences are corrupt (it sometimes happens for no apparent reason)

While holding down the CTRL + Alt + Shift keys; Start PS.

Answer the question to delete the preferences file YES

PS will rebuild the pref file to be as it was on delivery.

Thanks for the help I tried that but didn't help with it at all.

Hmmm...so you said you uninstalled then re-installed PShop 7 twice with no luck plus reset the preferences.

Have you cleaned your PC of its temp files lately. Occasionally bad temp files may effect a program.

I'm just guessing at this point.

Yea I cleaned the whole computer ran the ad ware and stuff then cleaned the temp and preview files from the adobe premiere. And still does it

I guess my next guess would be to visit > support > KnowledgeBase and search for some similar cases.

Sorry I can't be of more help; I'll keep poking around.
