If anyone can help i would really appreciate it. I can send u a pic if u want. When i select colors and choose white, it is actually yellow. Thus, other colors are different to. I have no idea what to do. Even when I enter #FFFFFF it is still yellow and when I make a new image and choose background white it is yellow still! Please help!

Could be that you are in indexed colour mode - try going to the "Image > Mode > RGB color" menu. What would be happening is that photoshop is replacing the colour with the closest match in the CLUT.

hope that's it - or your version of PS is seriously out of whack! ;-)

is photoshop the only area that you run into this problem? the only thing i can think of is your adobe gamma is out of whack and is showing whites as yellows. are any other programs distorted in color?

If you are on a Mac, check your version of Colorsync. I think that, esp. with system 9.1, ColorSync 3.03 is current recommended one.
