Hi all,

A friend who is a motorbike racer is looking me to do him an A3 size calender .
The calender and a photo of him is to be placed mid to top section of the page.
Around the photo and calender he is looking various size boxes to place his sponsors details.
Can someone please suggest the best way to go about this or is there templates anywhere that i could use ?

Thanks in advance

Mark

Cheers DucatiST2,

When i open the file in CS2 the dates are not in line with the days, spacing of the numbers is all over the place.

Pity you don't have InDesign. It's great for laying out text with graphics etc.

That script seems cool. If it's not working with CS2 perhaps you download a 30 day trial of CS3 and it might work for you, good thing is there is no legacy files for photoshop, so there shouldn't be any problem in doing further edits in CS2, once the calendar is made.

Cheers folks,
Got in design,
Is there templates that would be suited to what i,m after or is it best to just get stuck in and design myself ?

Regards
Mark

Cheers Eugene but i dont have a calender done yet.

Played around a bit in photoshop and came up with this,

ScreenShotStevie.jpg

Does it look ok ? Still have to insert all the other dates.

So basically,

You need, an Image on top, and a calendar underneath.

Would you like to have each month on a separate page... I suppose you do.

What way would you like the document to be finished? Would you have it stapled or with wirobound?

Here's an example of wirobound (very popular for calanadars)

Hi Eugene,

I have all the Months, days and dates now in place.
He is just looking a single A3 size poster as i have in the screen shot. The other boxes around the calender are for to insert his sponsors business details.

Many Thanks

Mark

OK, that doesn't seem like a problem.

It's definitely doable.

I will have a template for you later on today, probably around 13.30 gmt (in about 5hrs 15m, when I i'm on my lunch break, just leaving for work now).
