Phonline keeps dying

I've moved a phoneline from a dead TN to 2 different "working" TNs and it works for an hour or so then that TN dies. What would cause a phoneline to continuosly kill the TN it's on??

1. Bad phone
2. Bad line cord
3. Bad Jack
4. Bad cable

In that order

KCFLHRC, is it possible any of those bad items kill a TN???? It's as if it's shorting out the TN somehow.

It can disable the TN, I doubt it will actually make the port go bad but it is possible.

It doesn't show disabled on the PBX.

I would replace the phone if you haven't done so
