Hello,

Having trouble with this. I am not sure what I am missing. Been too long I guess since I worked on these... Users on analog phones are not able to access the paging trunk by dialing the ACOD which is 7099. Here is an example of one of them. I have this problem at other campuses as well. I tried changing it to UNR with no luck. There is no TARG set on the RDB for the paging trunk. Not sure why they can't access it.

Hmmm. Looks all good. Try making the Route type COT instead of WAT. Keep MANO=YES though

However, if you do this, and there is a subsequent "1" required to dial a zone - and that stops working, quick back out and make it WAT again.

The analog phone you show still has CTD in CLS, that needs changed to UNR.

Just curious, why is the trunk type WAT versus PAG? My paging trunks are all set for PAG (PAGE) but they also go through Gordon Kapes paging interface(s) first and then to the amps.

A PAG trunk doesn't allow you to access a zone page controller to send DTMF. A PAG trunk is just audio going into an amplifier input. If you have a zone page controller you can use COT or WAT, WAT doesn't look at the North America numbering plan, ie, a 1 or 0 as a leading digit.

Hello,

Thanks for the info guys. These are connected to an Dukane system fro the Cretacious era and as far as I know they were configured this way from day one. We took over this account several years ago and have always had challenges getting the paging trunks to work properly. It's very strange, the digital phones and IP phones can access them, jut not the L500. I suspected the CTD was the issue, but again it has been awhile. I will try that and see what happens.
