Hi,

I am using Phonemaster to admin a Meridan 11 sys and it is listing a TN for a user but when I try to view it gives the following error:

Run Time Error '380'
Invalid Property Value

When I check the TN via Terminal Access it stats as UNEQ.

Also lists in LUU as VCE?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Joxer

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to come up with that little gem.

While it is probably true it does not help.

I never heard of phonemaster, but if it is anything like MAT than I would prefer to do it the old fashion way. Thru the terminal.

Manually enter it in the Switch and then the phonemaster will work right. Mat was like that once in a while it would say there is a phone on a port and it wasn't in the Switch.
If it ain't in the Switch it won't work.

cheers,

was just wondering if anyone had come across the same issue.

Will be doin it the old fashioned way soon just learning how to walk before i start running.

Did you try doing a full resynch of the switch?
PhoneMaster uses the Meridian as the master database and a full resych should rectify the PhoneMaster database.

You will need to do a full re-synch in PhoneMaster as this will clear the database and re-build it. A re-synch shouldn't take long (depends on # of TN's and connection speed, if this doesn't resolve your problem try repairing the database using the PhoneMaster utilities.

Most definetly a conflict of the phonemaster database and the meridian database. With any of these admin products ei;MAT OTM and apparently phonemaster, anytime you make a chg @ the tty terminal you must reconcile or retrive the chg's made @ the tty back to the admin system (phonemaster in your case) or the database's will not be the same.I use OTM and have scheduled a daily reconcile of the databases so every morning I know that the OTM database is correct. You might consider doing the same if possible.

PhoneMaster can also be scheduled to download the Meridian System. If PhoneMaster is the default application for all Moves, Adds, and Changes then it will always be up to date with the Meridian. If however your vendor or third party tech makes changes through a terminal interface then a re-synch will have to be initiated and this can be done by date

you may just need to re-sync the phone master, it is great software but gets a glich at times, i don't use it but if i had a copy before i learned command line i may have never learned the switch
