Phonemanager Softphone and DS

We currently have a IPOffice 406 with majority of users on DS handsets. Certain users however will now be wanting to work from home using iPro softphone and usb headsets etc on their laptops.

The only way I can think of acheiving this is to have a new extension/user allocated for working from home e.g fred bloggs office extn 200 and fred bloggs WFH extn 300 etc.
Then forward calls or follow me etc.

I know this can be acheived using a single extension number if they had a IPHard Phone in the office as the IP softphone would just log in as the same virtual extension.

How can this work though using DS in the office and softphone at home? You'd have 1 Physical Extension and 1 Virtual extension and need two numbers/users assigned wouldn't you?

Any advice?

Maby use twinning so twin the softphone with your DS phone.

Cheers but twinning will use 2 base extension numbers. I just want 1 extension 1 user two different phones i.e DS in office, Softphone at home!
