I have a customer with odd request.

• Customer would like their Auto Attendant to ring four rings in the morning and eight rings in the afternoon automatic. Will the BCM50 do this?

• This customer has an on air phone for their radio station. We tie the lines from BCM50 to their on air device. We tie them together to allow the office manager to answer on air call. This is what we found out. When the DJs’ and the office manager has a caller on the phone, if the office manager hang-up her phone the call is disconnected. Can we change this?

Any advice?

You can't have the amount of rings change on the AA and need more info is the on air phone not on the system and the Off mgr is on and they have the call at the same time.I would think if the line is split at the D-mark going to the 2 systems the call should not disconnect when one or the other hangs up.

The customer claim a call was disconnected. Do you thank an option 11 c with Callpilot voicemail would fit this customer needs?

No one of any repute, and they're many on this forum, would recommend an Option 11 over BCM. Unless, pure numbers are the issue.

How are the lines tied between the BCM and on-air device? Line side or Trunk side?

I would imagine that the BCM is sending a Disconnect to the telco and the on-air device is unsupervised.

I would suggest a couple of ATA's on the Line Side (one per line) with each line ringing on one ATA and tie THAT dialtone over to the on-air device. That would guarantee no cut off.
