Phone not ringing

I have a user who has two extensions (target lines).You can reach him from the outside but callers internally get a message not in service. How can I get his secondary extension 2328 to ring internally instead of the primary?

Wow, that could be a few things. Someone changing DN's would cause you internal dialing issues. Check you wiring field and Maintanance in programming session to find out exactly what you arte working with.

I think I might have figured it out. The port he is plugged into is for his old extension 5306, I need to patch him into the new port. Thats why when you call his new number 2328 it says not in service since the phone isnt plugged in. What do you think?

The difference in the two ranges you are mentioned seems to indicate someone has changed DN's somewhere along the way, probably the 5306 extension. I would get back to basics and tone his station cable back to the wiring field, trace to the Norstar station and then verify in Maintanance exactly what you have.
