Phone not ringing right away 1

Hello,

I am configuring a new AP R8. I have configured the 5 lines and I am working on X10. I can dial outside... but when I call from outside.. I hear a message saying that the party is not available, please press *8 to be transfered to another extension or press 0 to be transfered to the operator.. if I press 0 then X10 start to ring... what do I need to change in order to have the phone ring right away?

It sounds like you haven't set up the voicemail. What type of vm are you using?
 
Sounds like you have not read the manuals and documents on the Partner, since basic programming and use is explained in them! The documents and manuals are free for the download @ support.avaya.com...

I have an Avaya Partner voice Messaging PC Card (Large) I read the docummentation but I recognize I am having problems setting up the voice mail. I do not need a AA. I just want all extensions go to voicemail after 3 rings including X10
 
Assign 78 & 79 to Hunt Group 7, #505-7-XX-1

UN-assign lines in #206-7-LL-2

NO covering extension in #208-LL

Auto VMS Coverage for each extension with a mailbox in #310-XX-1
