My problem is that i have a user who has left the company, she had a lot of of Speed dials set up on her phone manager and the new employee who is taking over her job wants to keep these speed dials.

The question i have is can you set up a new user, with the existing phone line and still keep all the speed dials which were set up for the previous user? if so how?

any help would be appreciated

Unless the speeddials are removed manual there will be no problem for the new employee.

Phone Manager won't delete the speed-dials unless you delete them as yogibear1977 stated. The Phone Manager software on that computer will keep them all even if you log-in as a different user. You can test this very easily just to make sure. Log-in on that person's Phone Manager as your extension and you will notice that the speed-dials do not reflect your speed-dials, they reflect the person's Phone Manager that you logged in through.

Make sure you are logged-off of your phone manager before logging into their phone manager.

If the pc is logged on as a new user it will have a new profile & this may not recognise the PM speed dials which are stored in the registry.

Unfortunatly there is currently no way to "legaly" expport the speed dials - due in V3.0

You could of coures get dareing with regedit

Cheers for all your help

I am not gonna mess about with the registry the user has decided to re-input the speed dials manually.
