A quick question. I don't know if you are familiar with the below on Office worker licence for 1XP

"These licenses set the number of users who can have their profile set as Office Worker.
If no Office Worker Profile licenses are present, existing legacy Phone Manager Pro (per seat) licenses
can be used to enable users for the Office Worker profile. For Release 8.0 and higher,
on non-IP Office Server Edition systems, a Preferred Edition system license is a pre-requisite."

My question is if a customer has unlimited Phonemanager pro licence how much of this licence will convert to a Office Worker licence. I am sure it is not unlimited.

Also my other question is if I have a 3 node SCN network with preferred licence at the main head office with centralised voicemail. will the Office worker licence work at the other 2 sites or do I need to licence them up with preferred edition as well?

I believe that the PHonemanager pro license with 255 as instances then it is not the "per seat" license and then it won't give you the remote worker license at all.

Preferred is only needed on one system.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

do you mean office worker? as I am currently upgrading some old systems that are connected together by a SCN. The 2 remote sites have 50 seat phonemanager pro which I can use for the office worker licence. The main office has this unlimited phone manager pro before they introduced a per seat versions.

I indeed mean office worker :)
Those 50 seats can be used, the unlimited not.

Thanks here's a star for coming back to me so quickly.

Licenses that are listed in the config as "Phone Manager Pro (Per Seat)" will work as Office Worker profiles on newer kit.

Those listed as "Phone Manager Pro" cannot.

Its the (Per Seat) part that is the key.
