I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Depending on software version you can set an internal auto answer button to force feed.

they dont want to answer on speaker phone. they want to block this from happening???

What kind of phones do you have?
If you have 4610/4620/5610/5620/5621 plug your handset in the headset plug and turn on headset.

Actually I just tried both method and neither work. I think FF is broken due to the external call transfer rule. Actually I think both are broken because of this rule.

What about trying the disable speaker phone option under the Extension settings?

Do as Matt says - in Phonemanager set the user as Off Hook Station - this enables the Answer Key/Enter button.

Having Re-read the OP

I am not sure if what you want is to be able to answer the phone with Phone manager and currently can't

OR

The reverse - that you Don't want to be able to answer the phone with the Phone manager.

If it is the first one - you need to set off-hook operation.

If it is the second - I don't think you can other than by unmapping the keys in Preferences -> shortcut keys. You may be able to disable the buttons using -disableanswer button as a command line argument in the shortcut but I think that only works for conference and transfer buttons. Why do you want this sort of functionality? You might also get somewhere close by disabling the speakerphone (4.1 or higher)
