I had to enable a couple things in my security settings to get Phone Manager to connect. TFTP read and write I believe from memory, it's not enabled by default on new R9 systems.

I'm involved in a system on which phone manager has been used for years - they now - due to a system outage - have upgraded to 9.0 and customer is cursing...

I upgraded a system from 8.1 to 9.02 and PM lite still works at that location. Nothing special needed to be done in my case.

It's the new security avaya has applied in security settings.
Some things such as tapi, monitor,real time interface disabled.
