We have setup of a IP406 where we can use the Phone Manger IP on the local Network and its works fine ...able to make and receive calls .......we have Phone Manager (unlimited)and Phone Manger IP Audio enabled in the Licenses ....we have built the ip routes for the user to work from "home"
We have a VCM5
When I try to Configure the PBX settings at home using
Phone Manager it does not display a list of usernames. The Phone Manager is showing up as Phone Manager Pro (John Smith 1200 ) so it looks like it is defaulting to my desktop extension (1200) not the (John Home ) VoIP extension (1300) set up in the switch.
If I try to place a call from home it will bring up the list of internal extensions. I can ping the IP address of the switch. I can even see calls coming into x1200 but cannot answer them (no voice on either side of the
call); again this extension is not configured for VoIP.
Is there any way to configure Phone Manager so it defaults to the 1300 VoIP extension when at home and not the desktop extension?
Is it possible that the Audio ports are being blocked/firewall as it works ok from Local Network without issue .....you can see the extensons from the remote end
but limited to the "Physical" and not the Voip ones .
