Phone issues

We moved a port network to a new site last weekend. This involved all new IP addresses. The system came up without an issues.

However (there is always one).. We have some phones which aren't reregistering, they boot allow you to logon with the station number and then just sit there, if you hit speaker the light comes on, but no dial tone and the screen stays blank. If you do a sweetasclear, the phone will reboot. But comes up into the same state.

It also looks like when you do a sweetasclear the station isn't logging of fully as it doesn't alarm.

i'm also getting phones which just reboot mid way through the day.

Any ideas anyone....please...
 
Make sure those phones are getting full and correct DHCP info on the new network. It is also possible they have been hard configured with info from the old network.

They are all set to DHCP, some phones are up and working and then suddenly de-register, but it doesn't appear to be all of the phones on a specific clan.
 
Goto page 10 of the "Display Capicity" output & verify what's available. If there's none, unregister some phones then try to LogOn.
 
Might also check your lan port speed settings to ensure they are not auto-negotiating to half duplex.
 
check for the FTP reachability. If you don't have any FTP server, set the FTPSRVR parameter explicitly to 0.0.0.0 through the AVAYA DHCP option string.
 
Thanks for all of your help on this,

Ended up doing a full system reset (by accident) and it looks like a couple of clans are not accepting over 150ish phones to register to them.

Dropped another couple of CLANs in and it all seems to be working, for now
