phone is being strange

Hi,

I have a norstar system with norstar minitalk. I have a aa set up press 1 for this 2 for that and so on and so forth. If know one answers or if they press 0 it goes to the general delivery box. I have the operator set for ext 221. Problem is when people leave a message it does not notify us. I know that if you press f981>other>default log code>change pass>ok it takes me to an account that is not the general delivery. the next problem after changing the pass word my log code will not work nor will the pass word I put in, therefore I no longer know how to access f983 because it has changed to something I obviously did not enter. I will then have to do a admin reset to access the default log code. Bottom line what I want is to be able to have people leave a message it notify us on the recep. phone that there is a message and her be able to check it with out messing all the default admin codes up.

You need to change the EXT on mailbox 100 (the GDM) to 221. you will then get notification of MSG waiting on 221.

Also dont mess with mailbox 102 , its password is the same for F983
F983 - 102XXXX - where 102 is the mailbox # and XXXX is the password.

It would have been F981>OTHER>100XXXX>OK
