We have our agent phone displaying the ANI and VDN name. When we get a call that does not have an ANI with it, it displays the trunk name and number. Is there any way that we can display the ANI if it is available yet not display the trunk and channel if no ANI. The problem is when it displays the trunk and number it pushes the VDN name off the phone. We use codes in the VDN name for the agents to enter in their screens.
I tried the following that I think is close but not quite there. Am I missing something?
Changed CPN/ANI/ICLID Replacement for Unavailable Calls" on the system features screen page 9 to UNAVAIL (also tried 10 digit number) and checked "Replace Unavailable Numbers?" to "y" on the trunk group page 2.
When I do this it still displays trunk name but does say UNAVAIL. Can I get the trunk name out of there yet keep my trunks named??? Renaming the trunk to something else is not really an option.
