caller id ....is not displaying on the phone ..how to fix this please advise

Some helpful details would be the system type, phone type, and if Caller ID displays on any phone already.

Short of that, CLS ADD on the phone TN.

All the extention on site can see the caller id on the phone display but just one phone is affected...

Also im new to this enviroment do any one know were i can get the Configuration command reference from Nortel Meridian.Thanks in advance

But to solve your problem, I bet all you need to do is CHG this TN and enter CLS ADD

LD11
REQ CHG
TYPE - 2008 or 2616 or whatever type phone the TN is prog'd as
TN - enter it
CUST 0
ECHG YES
ITEM CLS ADD

Or in some similar order

If you are on an existing call and a new call comes in ,and the caller ID is not displaying you can try CLS TDD
