Hello all,

Our Meridian phone system has been configured such that on most phones, a code is required to make an external call. This has been done by setting NCOS to zero, and by adding five-digit AUT codes in ld 88.

One remaining problem that we have is that we need the capability to automatically call forward from one phone to a cell phone. Since we put in the code system, this does not work any more, probably because the system is waiting for a code to be input.
Is there anything that can be done to fix this issue ?

GIVE THOSE PHONES A HIGH ENOUGH NCOS TO CALL LOCAL BUT NOT LD, THEY WILL STILL NEED A CODE TO CALL LD

Hi PerryPJ,

The phone codes must stay active for Local calls as well as LD. Any alternatives?

NOT THAT I'M AWARE OF, BECAUSE IN ORDER TO FORWARD OF SITE YOU NEED A NCOS HIGH ENOUGH TO DIAL LOCAL. YOU COULD TRY BUILDING A PHANTOM TN THAT IS FORWARED OFF-SITE TO THE CELL PHONE, THEN FORWARD YOUR PHONE TO THE PHANTOM TN. I'VE NEVER TRIED IT BUT IT'S WORTH A SHOOT

Use the ACOD of the LD Trunk group on that phantom, also cfxa & AUTD in the cls of the all TN's involved.
