We recently had to change the power supply on our Digital 400 Station, and now phone calls now get cut off abruptly and NUMBER BUSY comes up on the display. Any ideas why that might be occurring or places to check? Thanks in advance. You all are an extremely great resource for someone who knows next to nothing about these phone systems!

You could try un-checking the off hook station under the users telephony settings.

Regards,

Is this a DS30 module? If so is it the correct power supply for the unit?

Is this happening on only the phones on that module and is it one phone or all phones at the same time?

The module is an IP400 Digital Station.
The problem is occurring only on the phones on this module.
It is the correct power supply.
Re: off hook station suggestion, I'm not sure where that setting is in IPOffice. The user configuration hasn't changed for these users (other than myself-had to change extension port to function again), only the power supply was changed, so not sure why this would be happening.

Yes it is a IP400 DS30; however, only 5 ports are in use. The other four DS30s we have are fine and their ports are all in use.

I'm getting more information now from our phone users, and it seems like the problem is systemwide and not just on the one DS. Any ideas?

btw - The off hook station is not checked.

use system monitor and post a trace over here
now it is hard to tell what is happening

not recording calls.

So I haven't posted a trace before. I ran the trace and can post a sampling of it? It ran for a few minutes and is long. Do you want to see the whole thing? I didn't see any glaring errors show up. What do you suggest?

Someone (Donna McClure) got the NUMBER BUSY while I was tracing. I tried to stop the string soon after the problem occurred. Here's the string - maybe something within will be helpful.

Is your ISDN going up and down
I think you have line issues.

I am having the vendor test the line tonight. What is the indication that the lines may be going down? the type=no line?

Thanks so much for the help!! The vendor found that there was a loose jumper where their underground pair connecteded to the aerial pair for one of our circuits. They fixed it and hopefully this will solve the problems.
