Hello:

The PBX use to send details about the phone calls: dialer, dialed, date, time, how long (hours:minutes:seconds), etc.

Suddenly our PBX stoped sending these report. This is what reads at the log that we save:
Code:
N 018 00 6002 T010007 05/07 09:04 00:00:42 A 94171323
 & 0000 0000
E 019 00 T010010 6088 05/07 09:06 00:07:38 C 6144920424
 & 0000 0000
S 020 00 T010004 3500 05/07 09:07 00:00:10 C 6144255191
 & 0000 0000
IOD318 00

AUD000

ERR4291 11 0

DTC103

IOD319 00
IOD318="TTY x was disabled due to invalid characters and will be automatically enabled in 4 minutes".
AUD000="One pass made by audit. No errors detected. System software OK. No action to be taken."
ERR4291="Music route is undefined."
DTC103="System is locked to primary clock reference."
IOD319="TTY x was automatically enabled".

But after these line there are no more phone call details. The messages I'm worried about are the IODs.

I will be more than happy if you can help me with this issue. I'd like to restore the report that tells us who called who, and for how long.

What tty port did this come from? If tty 0 the check the terminal/pc you are tied to. Maybe something wrong with the input.

Check in the Meridian for the users of the tty port this printout is from. Make sure that CTY is one of the users on that particular tty port.

Print TTY info as stated by last post-
LD 22
Req: prt
Type: adan (<cr> rest of way and review all tty ports. Look for tty that has CTY at USR prompt)

Then verify tty is in CDB
LD 21
req: prt
Type: CDR (Look for the Port prompt. The same ttys you found with CTY should also be defined here)

Then verify TTY is enabled
LD 37
.stat (if enabled might want to disable/enable to see if that will help.)

I'm not very familiar with the PBX configuration. I don't know how to check for the users of the tty port (unkalary advice).

There is a CTY at each USER item of the LD 22, and the TTY ports are enabled (ld 37). But at LD 21 these is what the PBX sends:

Code:
>ld 21
PT1000

REQ: prt
TYPE: cdr
TYPE CDR_DATA
CUST 0

TYPE CDR_DATA
CUST 00
CDR NO <---- Here!!!
CHLN 0
FCAF NO

I guess the Call Detail Recording is not working. We haven't found what LD might allow us to turn it on. LD 16 might be?

We intend to use the ld 16 but there are a lot of prompts we don't know.

I will be in debt with you if you enlighten me about how to enable the CDR.

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Gregorio Granados.

THANK YOU!!!!

The ld 15 is the one to activate the CDR (not the ld 16), there are some items that remain unknown to me. I'll be searching their usage, like the CHLN, CHMN, FCAF and FCNC.

By now we have restored the CDR (Call Detail Recording).

We will look further to find out, why does these service stoped.

Thanks again.

Best regards,

Gregorio Granados

It doesn't just stop - someone had to say no to the CDR prompt in LD 15.
